Fire Permits

Burning Permits are NOT required for SMALL CONTAINED CAMPFIRES.

Burning Permits ARE required for INCINERATORS.  They can be obtained by calling or visiting the joint municipal office located at 903303 Hanbury Rd.

Burning Permits for UN CONTAINED OPEN AIR burning are required ALL YEAR LONG. Permits are free of charge and may be obtained at the Municipal Office (903303 Hanbury Rd) during regular office hours.   In order to provide Fire Department Volunteers adequate time to inspect the requested burning location, please apply for your fire permit at least 3 business days before you plan to burn.

Casey Volunteer Fire Department

The Casey volunteer fire department is always looking for individuals interested in joining the fire department. If you are interested, please contact the Fire Chief, Jacques Fortin.

Pompiers Volontaires de Casey

Le département des pompiers volontaires de Casey est toujours à la recherche de personnes intéressées à faire partie de la brigade des pompiers. Veuillez communiquer avec le Chef pompier si vous voulez vous joindre à la brigade ou pour toutes autres questions pertinentes au département de feu.

Fire Department Important Message

Further to a new By-law approved by Council, a Fire Permit is now needed ALL year round.  You must obtain your fire permit at the Township of Harley during regular office hours (8:00 am to 4:00 pm – Monday to Friday).  All fire permits pertaining to brush piles, windrows, or large fires will have to be approved by the Fire Chief.

Message Important du Départment de Feu

Suite au nouveau «By-law» approuvé par le conseil municipal, vous devez maintenant obtenir les permis «à faire du feu» pendant TOUTE l’année.  Vous pouvez obtenir votre permis de feu à la municipalité de Harley (903303 Hanbury Rd) pendant les heures régulières de bureau (8h00 à 16h00 – du lundi au vendredi).  Les feux de «brush piles, windrows» ou autres feux plus larges devront être approuvé par le Chef Pompier.
